@gbc fyi it should NEVER work unless you do port forwarding. In hl25 update you can create intener server and people can join you easy.

@T!g3r cool, there's an alternative to hamachi and I didn't even know about it. But still, does not answer my question, has ANYONE been able to create an open lan that anyone, literally anyone can join as it becomes a home server if you just do sv_lan 0 like in the old days, circa BEFORE 2017? Something happened to CS and no one has ever been able to do it, it seems it just does not work anymore.
