Hi, guys! This year we haven't done any surveys or prepared a lot of material specifically for the New Year news. For several months we have been concentrating on rather complex tasks that will greatly help us in the future, and during the New Year holidays we will traditionally continue to work on KZ-Rush. The results will be visible later, but something you will see tomorrow. Remember we had an article about the physics of strafe? And I also promised to write in detail about bhop and other techniques. Now we will have a whole cycle of articles on a similar subject, and the main part will be published on the New Year holidays. And not only on the site, but also in Steam guides. It won't be an easy-read material, so for newbies we are planning to make a separate simplified cycle in the video format next year.
Before writing this text, I ran through the news list of the past year, and I must say we did a lot of work :) Dozens of releases, adding maps, LAN updates, ROTWs (although I would like them to be more), VIP servers and BioHNS server appeared, for me personally a plugin for highlighting invisible triggers became the whole milestone, for which it was necessary to understand the format of maps. Thanks to the mappers who made maps specifically for our community, we conducted 6 offline tournaments with cash prizes. Moreover, we finally had the first online cup, having tested the plugin that had been prepared for a long time, and then consolidated the result, having carried out the second cup with the most epic duration.
