Before announcing new community maps, I'll give you info about the changes in the list of mapcheckers. First of all, I decided to provide rights automatically to all XJ and Cosy checkers who have an account on our site. Mandatory activity will not be required from them, it simply opens up the opportunity for them to participate in examination of maps, which will then appear in their uploads. Accordingly, we will ask the mappers, if possible, to announce rigth after uploading whether they are going to send the map somewhere else after the release on KZ-Rush.

XJ mapchecker: edZika, 8ball1, FuZzy1, jaguarBR, maiLyy, Okazys, xdddddddd.
Cosy mapcheckers: HaMMa, Hawaii, hoLy, inactive, Logitechhhhh, Sly, the_sergei, TyIIIkA.

As for our checkers, now there are only those (besides those already mentioned) who participated in checking at least one of the last 10 maps, specifically all1aNcE and abubas. Also bORN2MAKEPORN and MEDVDED_EBUN who have already helped with balance checks were officially added as checkers. And finally, hfour was accepted by application and has already shown outstanding results.

And now to the maps themselves. The first community map v4r_intensity from V4R10L4V3R4 is hard-extreme, with multi-level bhop corridors, climb rooms and some slide elements at the end. The mapper took into account the comments on the design and balance of jumps given by TyIIIkA, abubas and hfour, and also did a significant amount of work on adding safe blocks and teleports, which the map was not originally designed for. When creating a hard map, I urge other mappers not to forget that it is highly desirable to make it passable without checkpoints, especially if its level is below extreme. This will take the map to a whole new level, as happened with v4r_intensity.


The author of the second map BluERaY^_X, who continues to attack the Cosy upload with small easy maps, decided to please us with his new kzzNk_ruinas. He took into account the comments of hfour, TyIIIkA and abubas, tweaked the brightness and made a few fixes, giving us a rather long climb map with a nice design.
