Registration for the third cup continues until December 8 (see previous news), and there is only a month left until the end of the
winter map contest. In the meantime, some changes have occurred in the lan server pack. After the problems that XJ and Cosy encountered, they went under the protection of Cloudflare (with XJ later becoming unavailable) and automatic downloading of both the list of records and the records themselves from these sites became impossible. Therefore the links from which the lan pack takes lists of records (file
\cstrike\addons\amxmodx\data\kzrecords\records.ini) now again point to our CDN. And on CDN the list of KZ-Rush records is updated automatically, the XJ list is not updated, and the Cosy list is updated by me manually.
The second thing that had to be changed was the bot plugin. Now, instead of downloading demos, he will again receive ready-made bot files from our FTP server like it was years ago. I left the previous version of the
kz_bot.amxx plugin in the build, just disabled it in
plugins.ini, and called the new one
kz_bot_ftp.amxx. The files on FTP should be updated manually as well, so during November I selected the best records from three communities on our mappool from scratch. During this fascinating process, it turned out that we have 899 world records, XJ has 748, and Cosy has 508 (there would be more, but 315 demos according to our rules are considered illegal due to the +use script). For all of them, with the exception of 9 XJ records, which I did not find (here is the
